Ancon Development Corporation
David was born in Oklahoma City and attended Heritage Hall School and the University of Oklahoma. With the recession in the mid – 80’s, David moved to Palm Desert, California where he learned high-end building processes. Upon a resurgence of activity in Oklahoma, he moved back and designed and built spec homes in Tulsa, where his talent was noticed by Charles Givens who hired him to build fifty lake homes at Grand Lake. Saint James Club and Jack’s Hideaway were completed in two years. Upon finishing these developments, he and his wife, Suzanne Peck moved back to Oklahoma City where he finished out Saint Martins garden homes, La Reserve garden homes, and Saint Andrews office park. During the construction of Saint Andrews, David realized how much enjoyed building office buildings. He and Suzanne also had their daughter, Alexandra.
With over 60 residential and commercial projects under his belt, in 1998 David started Ancon Development Corporation, launching his general contracting and commercial office building business. In the last four years, He has sold over 20 office buildings and built four medical office buildings. In 2008 alone, his total sales were 4 million.
In between bricks, David is an avid golfer and loves art, travel, movies and snow skiing. He serves on the board of Allied Arts in Oklahoma City. He and Suzanne have moved 6 times after re-modeling their own homes with unique, artistic and progressive designs. Oklahoma City has given them a wealth of opportunities that other cities have proven unaffordable. With so much new growth and forward thinking in energy sectors, Oklahoma City is a perfect place for invention, expansion and cultural expression, an easy place to call home.
