LBN Properties, LLC hired Ancon Development to build a 25,000 SF addition to the existing 45,000 SF office of the DRS in October 2009. DRS is a state agency that helps with the processing of disability claims. G. David Neff acted as design consultant
between Owner, Tenant and Architect. This project presented a lot of difficulties in staging and scheduling due to a tight sight and parking for a full time staff of 250 employees during the construction process. The addition was built over the existing
parking lot. The new parking was built first and the employees were shuttled from remote parking for two months. This building is a single story steel structure with a Brick and Stucco exterior. We wanted to tie in the existing concrete tilt up architecture into the
new building, but at the same time, add brick for a more welcoming feel. We battled some of the worst weather including one of the biggest snow storms, ice storms, hail storms and flooding in Oklahoma history. DRS began moving in cubicles and furniture
